This morning was one of those mornings where I wanted to just “stay put in prayer.” I really didn’t want to come out. I was reading the Word of God. Talking to Him. Relaxing in His presence. I mean I could have stayed put all day. Buuuuuuut, there are two little people that He put in my care that would NOT have allowed me to do that at all. So up I go.
Here’s the conversation me the Holy Spirit had this morning:
I’m taking you higher.
Stay consistent in the adjustments.
No matter what, stay consistent in Seeking Me first.
What you’ve established with Me, will be necessary for the next level.
Listen to Me for instructions.
You will always have enough.
You will get what you want, but not before it’s time.
Timing is everything with Me.
There’s only one way to be legit.
Let prayer be the sustainer in your life.
Everything is working together for your good. Don’t focus on individual SETBACKS, because I use all of that for COMEBACKS.
In reviewing all of this, the one that made me dig more was: Let prayer be the sustainer in your life. I did some research on the word sustain. It means to strengthen or support physically or mentally. So if I take the definition of the word and insert it in, I get a new revelation: Let prayer be what I do to strengthen and support myself physically and mentally! To make it more confessional: I pray to God everyday so that I will be strengthened and supported physically and mentally.
Today, let us be encouraged to be consistent in prayer; wait on God’s timing; trust that he’ll give us what He promised us; know that there will never be lack in our lives; and be flexible as He takes us higher for His purposes.
All of this came from prayer…the sustainer of our lives!
While I can’t stay in the prayer closet all day, I WILL STAY PUT… IN PRAYER!
