Refresh Your Memory, So You Won't Forget!

WHAT DID GOD SAY TO ME THIS MORNING
Guess who woke up earlier than 5 a.m. this morning? ME!! And I actually went to bed later than normal, but God got me right on up to refresh my memory and yours. He wanted to remind us that the victory is already won! The Lord has rescued you from the enemy; and the enemy has already been defeated.
Remembering what the Lord has already done gives us more reason to praise Him, and even more strength to have faith that He will do it again. If the Lord did it before, He will do it again.
You can strengthen your faith simply by reflecting on what our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, has already done for you. John 3:16-17 says: “For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life. God did not send his Son into the world to condemn it, but to save it.
When was the last time you thought about how good the Lord has been to you? How often do you go back and recount or reflect on what the Lord has done for YOU? Think about it. In every situation that you have allowed the Lord to handle, He has handled it. You have received the victory in it! That’s the key…letting the Lord handle it all. Remember that next time things get overwhelming or stressful. Our Lord and Savior has a perfect track record of victory over anything that you’re facing! Just reflect on Him and your faith will soar.
Do me a favor and put your index finger under your nose. You feel that air hitting your finger? That’s a breath of fresh air reminding you of his goodness just for TODAY.
As we approach a man-made holiday tomorrow called Thanksgiving, let’s take the time today to THINK about what God GAVE us…His only Son…Jesus! We can call today THINKGAVE! Then, we can GIVE THANKS for ALL THAT HE CONTINUES TO GIVE US! Hallelujah!
