Seasons Come & Go, But God Remains
For the last three weeks, I feel like I have been on a repeat spin cycle. It’s like every Thursday and Friday has looked similar especially when it comes to my emotions. I have found myself on this proverbial roller coaster on Thursdays and Fridays. I mean emotional roller coaster.
If you remember yesterday’s blogcast was all about me asking God when? When will this happen? When will that happen? And Holy Spirit said He was still developing me in some areas before He brings me into my destiny.
Well today, that conversation kept going, plus some!
I prayed and sang this morning (definitely spirit led songs because they were originals). Have you ever sung an original song to the Lord? It is where you just let Holy Spirit take over and you just sing TO HIM. Try it! I know He loves when we just genuinely worship Him.
I flipped open my Bible today to Hebrews! Yup, again! And nope there were no bookmarks or pages marked from yesterday. I am telling y’all, this is how Holy Spirit guides me to where He wants me to be in His Word.
Today it was Hebrews 13. Here’s what Holy Spirit said to me today:
Show love.
Show hospitality because you never know when you’re welcoming an angel or messenger of God.
Remember the prisoners as if you were there with them.
Remember the mistreated as if you were mistreated.
Honor marriage and the marriage bed because God WILL judge the sexual immorality and adulterers. (If you have fallen into this sin, all you have to do is repent and turn away from it and ask God to forgive you and help you not do it again). Why is honoring marriage so important? Because it is God’s creation order.
Keep your life free from the love of money. (Luke 12:15 says: Then he said to them, “Watch out! Be on your guard against wanting to have more and more things. Life is not make up of how much a person has.”)
Be satisfied with what you have for He himself said He will never leave you or abandon you.
I will always be here as the SOURCE to supply everything you need.
Stay humble as your finances increase. They are increasing for MY USE, for MY KINGDOM AGENDA.
This morning I got revelation. The Lord wanted to show me that He is maturing me in the area of investments and money. He is letting me know that while money itself is not bad, the love of money can lead to character corruptions like greed, covetousness, and discontentment. Covetousness leads to self-pity and misery. I can’t let this new skill that I am learning (how to investment) change my character.
Holy Spirit said: Before I take you where you’re going, I have to make sure you’re fully developed in character!
I got it! I totally got it! I see exactly what He is saying.
As the seasons change in our lives (no matter how feel in those seasons), we are to keep our eyes on our changeless God. We are to show love the love of God to everyone and remember those who are in prison, mistreated, and less fortunate. We are to honor marriage. Basically everything we are to do is all apart of God’s plans, which is exactly why we are still here. He may be maturing us and changing us, but one thing we can be certain of, He won’t change! Hallelujah!

SALVATION PRAYER
