The Sustainer Sustains!
Right when my eyes opened up from sleep, my immediate thought was PRAYER over Sleep. Normally after a long Monday, I am negotiating sleep minute-by-minute and even second-by-second. 😜 But not this morning! I got on up!
As I prayed in the Spirit, I discerned the voice of God. The first word I heard was STAMINA. Then I heard SUSTAINER.
I prayed more and heard: Fast Reset
Now for this one, I didn’t know if “fast” meant speed or denying myself food. But either way, a reset was here or is coming. Hallelujah!!
The Lord then said: I will sustain you!
Yesterday’s conversation with the Lord was about Him being My Helper and today He encouraged me by saying He will sustain me! He IS sustaining me!!
When I went looking for scripture, there was one in particular that resonated sooo much and even spoke to the PRAYER over SLEEP thought that I had when I first opened by eyes.
“The Master, God, has given me a well-taught tongue, So I know how to encourage tired people. He wakes me up in the morning, Wakes me up, opens my ears to listen as one ready to take orders. The Master, God, opened my ears, and I didn’t go back to sleep, didn’t pull the covers back over my head. I followed orders, stood there and took it while they beat me, held steady while they pulled out my beard, Didn’t dodge their insults, faced them as they spit in my face. And the Master, God, stays right there and helps me, so I’m not disgraced. Therefore I set my face like flint, confident that I’ll never regret this. My champion is right here. Let’s take our stand together! Who dares bring suit against me? Let him try! Look! the Master, God, is right here. Who would dare call me guilty? Look! My accusers are a clothes bin of threadbare socks and shirts, fodder for moths!” — Isaiah 50:4-9 MSG
A few other verses that spoke to me were:
“Create in me a clean heart, O God, And renew a right and steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me away from Your presence And do not take Your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of Your salvation And sustain me with a willing spirit. Then I will teach transgressors Your ways, And sinners shall be converted and return to You.”— Psalms 51:10-13
“Cast your burden on the Lord [release it] and He will sustain and uphold you; He will never allow the righteous to be shaken (slip, fall, fail).” — Psalms 55:22 AMP
“May he send you help from the sanctuary and sustain you from Zion. May he remember all your offerings and accept your burnt offering.Selah” — Psalms 20:2-3 CSB
The last verse made me think about all the fasting and giving we have done in the 1 Hour Prayer Challenge LIVE!! He sees what everyone is doing who is participating in this challenge! And He will give us the stamina to do this ‘pray-fast-give’ lifestyle until He returns! He will SUSTAIN!!

SALVATION PRAYER
If you don’t know Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior and you’re not a believer, but you have a desire to be, all you have to do is openly confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead (Romans 10:9). When you pray that prayer, you are saved. Get connected with a good, bible-based church in your community, stay connected to other believers, and start having daily conversations through prayer with God every single day. Welcome to your new life with Jesus Christ!!!
