Throw Your Plans Away

WHAT DID GOD SAY TO ME THIS MORNING

Every blog starts off with me telling you if I got up on time or not. Well mostly every blog. This morning, I struggled again to get off the pillow. I am sick of talking about it! I’m sick of not getting up at 5 am! I am sick of the enemy trying to use the fact that I got up at 5:50 to mess with me or distract me! This morning, I prayed so hard and I told the devil, I don’t care what time I get up, I’m getting up with Jesus and praying for an hour, so stop with the whole guilt trip on time! Get out of here in Jesus name!

Has that ever happened to you? Whether you’re trying to start a new consistent habit of prayer, working out, eating better, or building a closer relationship with a loved one; and then the enemy tries to make you feel guilty when it doesn’t go perfectly? See the enemy is already mad that you’ve made up your mind to do what God told you to do, so he will be slick and try to take that very thing and use it against you with stuff like imperfection reminders. Don’t let the enemy win. You won’t always get it right, but if your heart is right, you’re right where God can use you!

Alright, let’s get to what else me and God talked about because that was certainly one of the areas! Matter of fact, it was such a major area, that I knew it had to be addressed right away. The enemy was going to try to use it to discourage me, or try to insert doubt into my prayers. That’s when the Holy Spirit said this:

If I did it before, I WILL do it again!
When in doubt, talk to me and write it out. (Basically, don’t stay in doubt, come to me immediately in prayer and bring your Bible and your journal so I can help you remove all doubt.)
When you don’t know what to do Fon, talk to me and then start writing!
Everything you do will have writing in it. And not just any random writing, it will be a written word from Me!
Look for all the writers in the Bible and study them.
Remember only what you do for Me, your Father, will last.
Spend more time with Me, and I will reveal what I want you to do.
Remember FON: For I KNOW the plans.

This morning, I felt like I was missing some instructions. I’ve actually been feeling this way for a while. I’m used to being so busy and moving and shaking this way and that way. But I had to realize that when I was doing all that moving and shaking, I was operating from MY plan, not God’s plan for me. So now when I am just sitting reading His Word or gaining knowledge watching sermons and listening to those in the faith who I know hear from God, I feel like I’m not doing enough. But the Holy Spirit reminded me, this won’t feel like you thought because you have surrendered it all to me. That old you was busy. The new you is about My BUSINESS! Ayyyyeee!! Come through Holy Ghost!!!!!!!!

Today I turned to Proverbs 14 in the scriptural surprise and once again, I had been here before, so I read the Word seeking what the Holy Spirit wanted me to see this time around. I saw verse 22. It says: plans go wrong for lack of advice; many counselors bring success.

I believe that the Holy Spirit is saying… that covering I told you to get… focus on getting it! More will be revealed to you when you get covered; when you get Godly advice.

I pray right now in the name of Jesus that I will turn up my spiritual discernment, so that I can hear from those whom the Holy Spirit will speak through. The verse says many counselors, so I know it’s not just one person I am seeking!

Be encouraged this morning to seek God. Throw your plans out the window! His plan is THEE plan to live your best life with! Amen!
