Trust God's Timing!

WHAT DID GOD SAY TO ME THIS MORNING
Don’t let what you see or hear, make you stop trusting what God said!! This morning I got up feeling a bit down. Last night I went to bed pondering a conversation. The conversation didn’t quite end how I wanted it to and that disappointment tried to take root. I praised God last night, talked to Him about it, and then turned on a sermon so that I could fix my eyes and ears on Jesus. I dozed off with the sermon playing and heard that my YouTube transitioned to T.D. Jakes. I really believe I was having church in my sleep at Bedside Baptist!! LOL! But when I woke up, I noticed in the prayer closet that I STILL had to give it back to Jesus because I apparently had allowed some replanting attempts to take place by thinking about the disappointment again.
This morning, I want to encourage you as I encourage myself. If God already said it, then don’t let the enemy use disappointment or something unexpected to take your eyes off of what God said. As I prayed this morning, it took me a minute to climb out of the funk. You know why? Because I was subconsciously trying to pull myself out!! YES, even in the prayer closet, I wasn’t letting go and letting God. I prayed in the Spirit and that always pulls me into right alignment with God. You see, when I am praying in unknown tongues, there is NO DOUBT that I am praying the perfect prayer. It is Holy Spirit praying through me and there is no room for any doubt, disappointment, discouragement, or distraction of even my own voice. It’s truly letting go.
But even after I prayed in the Spirit, I still was feeling like I wasn’t all the way at peace. I heard the Holy Spirit say…Open my Word up and let me talk to you that way. Side note: Aren’t you glad that God never leaves us and He always makes sure we get it if we stay there and let Him?
So I opened up my brand new Bible! Yes, I recently purchased the new Tony Evans Study Bible and I can’t even tell you how excited I was to do the Scriptural Surprise from a brand new Bible. I knew I would turn to something I had never seen before and guess what? I landed in 1 Peter 3. But y’all, with this Study Bible though, it’s like the Bible has come even MORE ALIVE! This particular Bible is all about advancing God’s kingdom agenda! Not to be a straight up commercial for it, but get you one! I am telling you…the Holy Spirit landed me on a page that was right on time with what I was concerned about!!! And then to have additional articles, insights, and inspirational thoughts all there with the scripture just made it even more easier for me to hear from God!!! I can’t wait to grab my coffee and study the Word of God and explore even more!!
Here’s what I heard the Holy Spirit say to me:
Trust Me.
Keep your eyes on me, not what you see or hear.
Stop trying to figure it out Fon (He keeps telling me this).
Keep your eyes on Me, not them.
Trust My timing.
Cut away anything that is trying to choke our your destiny or keep you from keeping your eyes on Me.
This morning, I am encouraged to keep trusting God in everything I do! Any seeds of doubt that try to come up against what God has already said, is the enemy trying his best to get your eyes off of God. I hear the Lord saying, don’t even give that doubt a second look or a second thought!
We have 30 days left in this decade. Pray, Listen, Write down what you hear God say, then Obey what He tells you to do. Trust His timing. I heard a prophet say last night that God is about to do things rapidly this month! So be ready for more mind blowing things to happen at rapid speed this month!!! The key is for you to trust God’s timing and not for YOU to go out there and try to make it happen quickly on your own. Trust God and His timing. What would take us 30 days, God can do in 30 seconds (2 Peter 3:8).
Trust Him to blow your mind before this decade ends. I know that I am!
