Be Flexible

WHAT DID GOD SAY TO ME THIS MORNING

This morning was different! I got up and started my prayer time. I felt so sleepy and so I did what I normally do, I started moving around and changing positions. It didn’t matter what I did, I felt this heaviness. I was like Holy Spirit, please just use me and wake me up. So I prayed and then I began to listen for the interpretation. I heard nothing. I said well let me pray some more. I prayed for any distractions and demonic spirits to be removed, just in case I had dozed off and something tried to enter. So I prayed even more. I heard, don’t slow down on your assignments. Pick up speed. That was it. I kept listening for more. I was like…wait, Holy Spirit, you know I have this blog to write and people are depending on me, and I am depending on you to talk to me. So I kept waiting. I kept shifting. I felt sleepy even while standing up. I was like…what is going on this morning?

Then I heard this: When the enemy learns your pattern, I will switch it up, so be ready for the switch. Go take a shower.

Yall, I normally don’t start the getting ready process until after prayer time. Sometimes to be totally honest, I will get kids off to school and get the blog written, and THEN get ready. But when the Holy Spirit said Go Shower, I went. I was hoping my kids woke up on their own because I was not going to deviate from the instruction I just gotten (side note: they were up and had gotten ready on their own! YAY!)

When I got out, I still had my notepad in the bathroom. That’s when Holy Spirit gave me this:

Be laser focused this week.
Everyday won’t be full of instruction. You have all your assignments, so now it’s execution time. Get them done!
Some days it will be Bible Study in your prayer time. It won’t always be instructional. Bring your Bible to the prayer closet from now on.

It’s a new week of obedience and I hear you Holy Spirit. Be flexible and ready to do what I say do, when I say do it.
