WHAT DID GOD SAY TO ME THIS MORNING

In obedience, the On Assignment By God Blog, now has an audio feature where you can listen to this blog!! Thank you for your prayers as I continue to be obedient and do what God says! Happy Listening!!

Happy Saturday! It’s February 29th, a day that only happens in our calendar year every four years! We call it leap year! And I believe that this year will be a year that we leap into our blessings. That we leap into all that God has for us. That we leap into harvest seasons. That we leap over walls or anything that the enemy tries to throw on our path to block us. We are leaping over the hurdles of life because God is putting that extra SPRING in our steps! I can visualize being on God’s path and just like the police throw out spikes to stop a car on a high speed chase, the enemy will try to throw out spikes to deflate us or slow us down or get us to stop, but I see in the spirit that God is supernaturally allowing us to leap over those spikes. That He is coming and smoothing out the pathway for our sake because we are treasured by Him.

WOW!!

I just love when the Holy Spirit takes over completely! I have none of that in my notes y’all. None of it!

I hear the Holy Spirit saying…THIS CONVERSATION IS NOT OVER! LOL! I am too tickled at that!

Now what we did discuss earlier in our conversation was this:

  • You can’t want it for them.

  • You can’t want it more than they want it.

  • They must show they want it to.

  • You can intercede, but they still must choose to want it for themselves.

  • You can’t force it. They have to be willing!

  • You’re getting ahead of me when you do more than I asked you to do.

  • When I give instructions, and you go above and beyond what I said to do, you are going above and beyond ME!

This morning the Holy Spirit was letting me know that I can pray for people, but they have to also WANT what I am praying for as well. Just like God allows us to choose which direction we want to go in, so must we allow others to choose their direction. We can want them to go in a certain direction, but we can’t force them to go. They must choose for themselves.

And I believe the Holy Spirit is saying, don’t get caught up in wanting it more than they want it. Just pray for them and move on. The assignment is to pray for them, not force them into submission. I don’t do that to you, so don’t you take on the task of doing that for others. The same way I love you and want what’s best for you, but still give you a choice to follow me; that’s the same way you are to love and let others choose their path. Yes you want what’s best for them and that’s the same desire I have for you too. But you chose willingly and so must they.

Pray for them and leave the rest up to Me.
