Assume the Position
As I tiredly went into the prayer closet this morning, I just began to thank God. I didn’t even go straight into my heavenly language. I just wanted to thank him!
When I DID go into my heavenly language, I kept feeling like I was “doing it tired” and I heard the Lord say: Assume the position.
I surrendered even more and just let Holy Spirit take over. Then I discerned the Lord say: Don’t assume you are not being used by Me even if you fall asleep or are weary. Because you’re IN POSITION to be used, I AM using you.
“If you keep yourself pure, you will be a special utensil for honorable use. Your life will be clean, and you will be ready for the Master to use you for every good work.” — 2 Timothy 2:21 NLT
As I was writing this, I heard the Lord saying: Assume the position of purity.
“In a well-furnished kitchen there are not only crystal goblets and silver platters, but waste cans and compost buckets—some containers used to serve fine meals, others to take out the garbage. Become the kind of container God can use to present any and every kind of gift to his guests for their blessing.” — 2 Timothy 2:20-21 MSG
I decided to just look up the phrase: Assume the position on Google.
It means: To turn away, with your hands in a visible and unmovable position so that you can be searched.
Immediately I thought about an old song that says: Search Me Lord. If you find anything that shouldn’t be, take it out and strengthen me. I want to be right. I want to be saved. I got to be whole!
Well that’s purification!!! Hallelujah!!
Whether we drag ourselves to prayer or pop up with energy, we still must assume the position and be purified so that we can truly be used by God.

SALVATION PRAYER
If you don’t know Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior and you’re not a believer, but you have a desire to be, all you have to do is openly confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead (Romans 10:9). When you pray that prayer, you are saved. Get connected with a good, bible-based church in your community, stay connected to other believers, and start having daily conversations through prayer with God every single day. Welcome to your new life with Jesus Christ!!!
