Fire!
During prayer time, I was on the floor of my prayer closet in a face down, prostrate posture before the Lord. I had this blanket over me and the lower part of my leg must have been exposed because I was bit cold.
I prayed for the Lord to warm me up. I didn’t want the coldness to distract me.
I had a vision of a ring of fire. It was protecting me and keeping me safe (and warm too), but as I kept praying, I also saw this fire keeping bad things away from me. When the enemies saw the fire, they fled! The more I prayed in the Spirit, the more I felt IGNITED.
I discerned the Lord saying: I’m igniting YOU with a Holy Ghost fire brand! 🔥 I’m not just protecting you, I’m burning away any impurities from you so that you can be My righteous daughter!
I thought… refiner’s fire!!
I began to search out scripture after praying and read how God’s holiness is the reason for Him being a consuming fire, and this consuming fire burns up anything unholy!
I saw this fire as refining me to be a righteous woman of God, so that nothing evil can touch me without burning up before me! Sickness can’t touch me! It will burn in the fire!!
All-consuming fire means utterly consumes or destroys!
“Therefore, since we receive a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us show gratitude, and offer to God pleasing service and acceptable worship with reverence and awe; for our God is [indeed] a consuming fire.” — Hebrews 12:28-29 AMP
When we receive God’s kingdom, we are receiving an unshakable kingdom!!!
UNSHAKEABLE!
Nothing, no thing, can shake the righteous people of God.
As a part of the unshakeable kingdom, our role is to show gratitude, offer God pleasing service and acceptable worship that includes a reverence or godly fear and AWE of Him!
This is month of AWE-tober!!! Let us continue to be In AWE of our God who purifies and protects with His consuming fire!!
By the way, I love the message translation of Hebrews 12:28-29
“Do you see what we’ve got? An unshakable kingdom! And do you see how thankful we must be? Not only thankful, but brimming with worship, deeply reverent before God. For God is not an indifferent bystander. He’s actively cleaning house, torching all that needs to burn, and he won’t quit until it’s all cleansed. God himself is Fire!”— Hebrews 12:28-29
Lord, Purify me with your fire 🔥
Lord, Protect me with your fire 🔥

Let’s be ON FIRE for the Lord today!

SALVATION PRAYER
If you don’t know Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior and you’re not a believer, but you have a desire to be, all you have to do is openly confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead (Romans 10:9). When you pray that prayer, you are saved. Get connected with a good, bible-based church in your community, stay connected to other believers, and start having daily conversations through prayer with God every single day. Welcome to your new life with Jesus Christ!!!
