Seasons!

WHAT DID GOD SAY TO ME THIS MORNING

Every morning that I wake up to pray for an hour and write this blog is truly a blessing. I am so thankful to be ON ASSIGNMENT BY GOD. I am even more thankful that this place God has me in is not just for a season, but for a lifetime. I pray in the early morning. It’s no longer a challenge. It’s no longer a struggle. It’s who I am. It’s absolutely necessary, and there is nothing that can keep me from it. Not even late nights. Not even sleepless nights. No matter what, I pray in the morning.

Here’s what the Holy Spirit said to me this morning:

Everything I do is done orderly.
My Word shows you what to do and how to do it. Follow my steps in order. Follow my instructions.
I am going to put you in places that you have not even imagined you will be!
You are who I say you are!
You’re going to bless so many people with your writing and your willing heart.
There are certain people on your path that are only meant to push you to the next step. They are seasonal people. Don’t try to force anyone to stay that I meant only for a season.
Let nothing stop you from doing what I ask you to do.
Get ready to steward more.
Be confident in your steward and management skills, even as you continue to hone them.

WOW! What a mighty word from God. I had asked God why this person was there then, but not now? I had prayed about certain people who popped into my life and gave me some great direction, but they haven’t been main stay people. I didn’t know if I was supposed to be reaching out to them to maintain that encouragement, or what. That’s when I heard the Holy Spirit say some people are simply for a season.

I pray that God will continue to show me who I should be talking to now, and who has already done their part in my journey, and it’s okay for me to let them go. In this new season of my life, I just want to be obedient and do what God purposed me here on earth to do.
