Heirs
WHAT DID MY LORD GOD SAY TO ME THIS MORNING?

This morning as I was praying and reading my Word, three things were highlighted off the page:
Heir
Joint Heir
Permanent Portion
I started confessing out loud: I am an heir of God through Jesus Christ.
Now I know and you know what an heir is, right? Of course we do. If you are an heir to your family’s estate, you’re the one who gets all the money, all the assets, all the land, all the everything! Well guess what? We are heirs of God through Jesus Christ, so that means we get EVERYTHING that God has for us! We have an inheritance and this comes to us by saying YES TO JESUS! It is accessed be our faith generated by the Word of God.
As I was doing my research on heirs and inheritance, I came across several findings that really helped me get a clear understanding of these words the Holy Spirit illuminated to me this morning. Being an heir means we are a beneficiary. As a former employee of a major insurance company, I gained my fair share of knowledge about insurance, beneficiaries, primary beneficiaries, secondary benes (we actually shortened the word to bene). Working there had me knee deep in all that lingo.
One of the things that always baffled me was the amount of unclaimed money that our company had because family members were unaware that they were the beneficiary. I got to pause right there because some of us are walking around unaware of what it really means to be an heir!!!! Oh that’s straight bars right there now (bars signify verses in a song) and I just gave y’all a verse straight off the dome (that means out of my head). I got to make sure all my readers and listeners can flow with me. LOL!
Back to the conversation. Many people don’t know about life insurance policies that their loved ones had because they never communicated it to them and eventually that money goes to the state as UNCLAIMED. I don’t want nothing that belongs to me to go anywhere but to me!! How about you?
An inheritance has no value though unless it is known!!!! Did you hear what I said? If you don’t know about it, it has no value to you!
A friend/client of mine has an amazing journal called the My COINZ Journal and the purpose for the journal is for you to write down all the pertinent info about your COINZ (your money) so that when you go home to be with the Lord, your beneficiaries can get what belongs to them here on earth. That’s exactly what the Bible is!! The Bible contains all the info of what exactly is in our inheritance!! That means we have to OPEN THE BIBLE to see what we actually get now here on earth and after we leave here! So now you see why the enemy don’t want us to open up the Bible. He doesn’t want us to know what is ours because it ain’t his and never will be!!
Our goal should be to know and walk in all that belongs to us. We have to open the The Bible. We have to look there! So what are some of the benefits of our inheritance that we have right now?
Healing
Wholeness
Peace with God
A Clear, sound, disciplined mind
Freedom
Authority over devils, demons, and evil spirits.
Check this out, we are an heir of God, and also a joint heir with Christ. We have received an inheritance TOGETHER WITH JESUS! Anything that has Jesus and my name on it makes me want to shout! Can you see it? Put on your Holy Lenses…

See as heirs we didn’t have to work for the inheritance. It was already in place beforehand!!! MY GOD!! Thank you JESUS!!! Being an heir is eternal too. It can’t be taken away from us!!! Now if that doesn’t get you excited, then you need to open your Bible and read it for yourself! But today, let’s walk around knowing that we are HEIRS and we have a permanent portion, an eternal inheritance, that belongs to us because of our YES to JESUS.
