Seek God

WHAT DID GOD SAY TO ME THIS MORNING

It’s a brand new month!! June 1, 2019 is here. I had an amazing May and I am so thankful for the April showers, that brought May flowers for me. Now it’s time to see and experience all that God has planned for June. This morning, I heard the Holy Spirit say to me: your writing is so important to me. I am preparing you for something bigger. Keep being consistent.

I have been praying and asking God about my business name and I heard Him say…don’t get anxious about it. At that moment, I just felt the tears roll down my eyes. All I want to do at this point in my life is please God. I don’t want to get it wrong. He knew in that moment, I needed the Holy Spirit to comfort me to know that, if I by chance don’t get it exactly right, He STILL loves me and He STILL got me. That everything will be okay. He has always been able to correct me as long as I allow Him to do so.

For the scriptural surprise, I read 2 Chronicles 22-30. It was all about the different kings and how the ones who followed the Lord were successful, but the ones who didn’t follow the Lord, were killed. I read 8 chapters and the two things that popped out most were:

Be careful and follow all the Lord’s instructions in your work (2 Chron 29:15).
As long as I seek the Lord, I will be successful. I will prosper (2 Chron 26:5).

I opened my Prayers That Rout Demons book up and Daniel 2:22 stood out the most in everything I read because it was 222. My scriptural surprise was 222 (2 Chronicles 22). Daniel 2:22 says: Reveal to me the secret and deep things.

I know God is speaking to me and today is just a reminder that He doesn’t bombard you with everything at once. I am going to take what He said today, which is basically to follow His instructions about writing, keep seeking Him and praying consistently, and knowing that if I do that, I will be successful with Him.

And be encouraged to go to church tomorrow. God has something for you in this new month, and you need to be in the house of the Lord to get it, especially if you’ve been missing-in-action from church. And like I told someone yesterday, find a church you like and don’t just rule out all churches because you didn’t like the church you grew up in or your last church. Make church attendance a priority. There is something about being in a “corporate” setting that you can’t get just from watching it online (I hope you are at least watching it online).

GO TO CHURCH!! Treat it like you’re in a new town and trying out some new places to eat…no one has to convince you to go out and search for good food. It’s the same thing with spiritual food…go search and find the church that feeds you real good!! Not going to church is simply not an option. Go get fed. Your life will be so much better for it.
