WHAT DID GOD SAY TO ME THIS MORNING

This is the day that the Lord has made, I am rejoicing and I am glad to be in it! Yesterday I heard an awesome word by my pastor, Joel Simms, at Word of Life Church. It was during our Wednesday morning prayer service when he said: God is a God of steps. I wrote it down in my notes, among many other nuggets of wisdom. This morning when I prayed, here is what I heard from the Holy Spirit:

  • Follow the steps.

  • Do things in order.

  • You can’t skip steps yourself. I can allow you to skip steps, but YOU can’t.

  • Always plan step-by-step: Step 1, Step 2, Step 3.

  • Be okay with going step-by-step. There is a purpose in the process. Each step builds you and prepares you for the next step. If YOU try to skip steps, you will miss something that is essential for the destination of where I am taking you.

  • Faith is necessary for every step.

  • Don’t step into anything without me. Don’t step into conversations, relationships, purchases, building/places…without Me.

  • Don’t let your desires get you ahead of the steps I am taking you through.

  • Get the book out within 30 days. Follow the steps.

I then listed out what steps I needed to take to get my book out. As a part of my prayer time, I use the book: Prayers That Rout Demons by John Eckhardt. In this book, there are super specific short prayers for everything we need to be praying for. As I prayed for enlargement and increase, the book referenced Isaiah 60:5-9 with this short, but but powerful prayer: Enlarge my steps so I can receive Your wealth and prosperity.

I believe the Lord is saying to me…do your assignment step-by-step, and with My power, I will enlarge your steps, so that you can receive all the blessings I have for you! Hallelujah! Thank you Jesus in advance for every way that you bless me.
