What Business Are You In?
It’s a BRAND NEW WEEK! 🙌🏽
This morning I discerned Holy Spirit’s voice as saying:
Be about My Business (Saving People)
My Kingdom Agenda
Then He said, “What’s it all for if it’s not for Me?”
This made me think about the Great Commission. I also thought about the word GOSPEL and decided to look it up on Google.
Gospel - (1) the teaching or revelation of Christ. (2) The record of Jesus’ life and teaching in the first four books of the New Testament.
I believe Holy Spirit was reminding me (and us) of what our focus should be every day.
“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” — Mark 16:15 KJV
“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; they shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God. And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.” — Mark 16:15-20 KJV
“So wherever you go, make disciples of all nations: Baptize them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.” — Matthew 28:19 GWT
“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations [help the people to learn of Me, believe in Me, and obey My words], baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,” — Matthew 28:19 AMP
So this means that whenever we go: work, school, out to eat, friends and family houses, traveling, church, gym, the DMV, dentist, doctor, games, entertainment, or community gatherings! All of it! No matter where we go, we are to “help the people to learn of Jesus Christ, believe in Jesus Christ, and obey Jesus Christ.
We are to open our mouths and spread the Gospel!
When we are at all those aforementioned places, are we spreading the Gospel or the gossip? 🤯
That’s literally the thought I had. I know when I used to work at a job… gossip was definitely being spread more than the gospel! Even at friends and family houses… more gossip than gospel.
Thank you Holy Spirit for reminding me of what business I am actually in and who I actually work for!!!

SALVATION PRAYER
If you don’t know Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior and you’re not a believer, but you have a desire to be, all you have to do is openly confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead (Romans 10:9). When you pray that prayer, you are saved. Get connected with a good, bible-based church in your community, stay connected to other believers, and start having daily conversations through prayer with God every single day. Welcome to your new life with Jesus Christ!!!
