Win-Win With Worship

Listen to the podcast version of this blog.

I love that when I worship my Lord and Savior to fill Him up with adoration and praise for WHO He is, He still fills ME up too!! Hallelujah, it's a win-win!

This morning was a Psalm 132:7 kinda morning:

“Let us go to his dwelling place; let us worship at his footstool!” Psalm 132:7

I don’t know if you have ever just had a morning conversation with Holy Spirit where you just worshiped Him for who He is, but that’s exactly what I did this morning. Singing in the Spirit and just giving Him all the praise because He is worthy of it ALL.

I still read Deuteronomy 22 for the Scriptural Bible Study, and to be honest, when I read about how women and men were put to death for sex outside of marriage or other violations of sexual conduct, it really made me worship even more. I am so thankful for Jesus, my Lord and Savior, because things could have been different for me, and probably you too.

See when you think about who you have been in your past and how the blood of Jesus saved you, you can’t help but to want to just worship our Lord for WHO HE IS. Sometimes things will come back to my remembrance that I have suppressed for so long, JUST to get me to go in further in my praise and worship and adoration of WHO GOD IS and HAS BEEN and WILL BE in my life.

This morning I went a bit old school on the songs. It started with a worship song suggestion for my 1 Hour Prayer Challenge Life Group. And y’all, it just kept going from there. So today, I am going to link my worship playlist from this morning. In my attempt to give God my best praise and worship, He ended up STILL FILLING ME UP! Who wouldn’t love a God like this?

As you listen to these songs and think about your life and how God has been right there the whole time no matter what you did or didn’t do, I can pretty much guarantee your worship will go to another level. And as you go to another level in praise and worship, Holy Spirit will FILL YOU UP so much that you will want to worship Him for WHO HE IS even more!!! I am so GRATEFUL this morning!

SALVATION PRAYER

If you don’t know Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior and you’re not a believer, but you have a desire to be, all you have to do is openly confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead (Romans 10:9). When you pray that prayer, you are saved. Get connected with a good, bible-based church in your community, stay connected to other believers, and start having daily conversations through prayer with God every single day. Welcome to your new life with Jesus Christ!!!
